A little over a week ago, I met an incredibly inspiring woman named Miry. I listened to her share her story of how she created Miry's List. Besieged with postpartum depression and at the behest of a good friend, Miry helped secure a baby jumper and brought it to a recent refugee family who had moved into her neighborhood. They had nothing. Aside from their children, their house was bare. So, Miry made a list of all the things they would need to feel safe and secure. Not even two years later, Miry's List emerged as "a movement of neighbors and friends dedicated to welcoming new arrival refugee families into our community through inspired crowdsourcing solutions."
